In my first experiment with artificial intelligence's writing capabilities, I asked OpenAI's ChatGPT to "write a blog post with three reasons business people should become storytellers."

Here is the result. I decided not to make any edits. Not bad. I'm still trying to process what these AI tools mean for people and society.

But I'm happy to know that even artificial intelligence understands the importance of storytelling for business people. (haha)

For example, a salesperson could tell a story about how their product helped a customer to solve a problem or improve their life in some way. This can help the customer to see the value in the product and feel more confident in their decision to make a purchase.

2. Storytelling inspires and motivates teams

Storytelling is also an effective tool for inspiring and motivating teams. When leaders use storytelling to convey their vision and values, they can create a sense of purpose and inspire their team members to work towards a common goal. 

Stories can help to bring abstract concepts to life and make them more meaningful to team members.

For example, a CEO could share a personal story about how they overcame a difficult challenge or setback. This can help to inspire team members who are facing similar challenges and give them the motivation to keep pushing forward.
